Series 3——Human ·QI ·LI

Quoting from《WEN ZI》: Li (law), means the inherent order which determines the movements of things. Different things work with different Li. While Qi (life energy) means a state of spirit, which exists in all things of the world, living or nonliving. It can be transformed into heaven and earth, four seasons, Yin and Yang, humans.

In this piece of work, human figure models float up and down in invisible air or ,in other word, qi, just like the life we are experiencing in real world. And movements of these flying models, which seem to be unpredictable, will arouse variation on the interface of the installation. The idea that no man is an island applies here, so nothing is an island. These movements will have influence on both environment and people around. However, in our daily life, we tend to pay no attention to the details.
